Tan or Boil Drifts By

This week on The Drift I’ll be speaking to Tan or Boil; the project of home-recording artist Jason Bacasa. After getting the support slot for a Joanna Newsom concert through a friend, Jason set about recording some demos to sell as CD-Rs at the show. One of these CD-Rs made their way to Sydney’s Preservation Records. Preservation hooked Jason up with instrumental maestro Aaron Martin, who augmented the stripped-back demos with ethereal folk landscapes. The result is Seamstress in a Suitcase.
